I own half a double, we were grandfathered in with a shared lateral. My basement flooded with sewage back in September, we found the whole lateral needs to be replaced. The township did the ran a sewer extension to allow connections.
However the landlord of the other side has been dragging his feet, because thats how he is anything that he needs to fix or repair is months long, his gutter fell off the week before Easter, he fix it till July.
Donelllys has been amazing in helping keep the sewage out of my basement until the slumlord next door gets his lateral detached. If he doesn't do it by December 26th the water gets shut off
